5 speed manual trans, 140000 miles, good condition.
Black with smoked headlights and tailights the car has several modifications including: Saleen style hood and steeda spoiler - The side scoops have been molded into the body. Steeda rims (ultralight) rear tires are good needs new front. Big baer brake system on the front with drill slotted rotors. Cold air intake with steeda spark plug wires. chrome black exhaust tips. sony explode cd player steeda shifter with knob. All necessary maintence has been done with oil changes done regulary. car has about 140,000 miles but has been well taken care of. Performance wise it does not perform its age the tripometer has stop working but spedometer and rpm gauge still work fine. Windshield wipers are inoperable at this time, I have replaced the motor and switch and updated harness, so there is a short in the wiring system somewhere, but all the parts needed to fix it are included.
I upgraded to a cobra, so I am really not interested in any trades. $4000 or best offer.

no, they didn't. 94 and 95 GTs had the new body style, but still had the 5.0. easiest way to ID them is the horizontal tail light slots instead of vertical on the 96-98 8/7/2009 1:06:25 PM |

Okay, I lied. Just double checked and he said its never been raced ever.
So, never tracked.
And yes, kinda sad.

^^extremely reliable. deemarie had a 98 GT that she just sold last week. never once left her stranded in about 6 yrs of driving it. the 98 had a 4.6 instead of the 5.0, but the 5.0s are great engines. she had a 93 GT (hatch foxbody style) w/ a 5.0 before the 98 and it was also very reliable.
if you want a somewhat sporty daily driver, i say go for it. i didn't like her mustang simply because i wasn't comfortable in it. that's all up to personal preference. if you're comfortable in it, i don't think it would be a bad purchase. mileage isn't bad for a 15 yr old car. 8/8/2009 1:01:36 AM |

I just sold my '00 V6 Stang. I had it for 7 years and loved every second of it... so much so that I traded it in for a new '09. In those 7 years all I ever had to have done aside from routine oil changes was basic stuff, ie change the air filter, fuel filter, oil filter, spark plugs, plug wires, etc. I only had to change the brake pads once and buy new tires once. It was my daily driver and I put a fair amount of miles on it -- I even used it to drive delivery for Jason's Deli for 2 years. It had 105k miles on it when I traded it in and it could've made it to 200k easily. People talk a lot of shit about Mustangs, but anyone who has ever owned one knows that it's completely unfounded. They're a great vehicle backed by a long rich history and they're a helluva lot of fun to drive!
Good luck to whoever decides to buy this great lookin' GT. 8/8/2009 4:06:09 PM |

I honestly don't remember the manufacturer of the headlights and tail lights, but they are smoked and I got them at Carolina Mustang in Cary.
As for daily driver, I've only ever driven mustang's as daily drivers. It's never been raced or tracked, and the only reason I'm selling it is because I upgraded to an 03 Cobra.
I work in the automotive industry and I keep my cars very well maintained.
I'll get some close up photos of the side by monday morning. The car is located at my work so it doesnt get towed at my apartment complex.

i had a '95 v6 and loved it...
...until the head gaskets blew
i knew it was going to happen, though...that model and year were notorious for crappy gaskets, so i bought the car with the knowledge that before 120k, i'd have to replace some gaskets to the tune of $700
otherwise, in the 60k miles that i owned it, nothing else went wrong and i got pretty good gas mileage (i got as high as 42mpg on a trip to winston-salem...i did 90mph almost the entire way )
esgargs actually bought my car at 130k a few years back

42mpg might could be feasible... with about 50 mph winds blowing to the west
Also, not all gas pumps stop at the same "full" level (such as with some older ones).

^^ & ^ again, it doesn't matter whether you believe in the facts or not, they're still facts and you're still wrong in thinking it's not possible
as for the gas pump thing, of course they cut off at different times...which is why i'm pretty consistent about topping off
in any case, minute differences in the way a pump fills would not account for any significant change in that 42mpg calculation
but i'm done trying to convince people of facts when their misconceived opinions keep getting in the way...to the OP, good luck selling a great car! 8/13/2009 5:18:19 PM |

I think you are ignoring the FACT that your engine spinning at the rpms it does at 90mph would be the equivilant of driving around the freeway in 3rd gear.
The car might stand to get 40mpg when it's driving at an efficient rate of speed....however 90mph is not one of those speeds. 8/14/2009 1:32:51 PM |
