Want to buy a 2005/6 TSX with less than 40K miles for under 19k. Is that possible? I think it should be but I'm not having much luck. 8/9/2009 10:13:21 PM |

if you want one in decent condition, no this is not possible from what my gf and i saw in the several weeks we were looking for a car for her. she ended up w/ a certified 06 TL w/ 40k miles for about $22k
also, they're priced about the same as the TL. why not go with that? mpg is the only reason to go with the TSX instead of the TL imo. that and the fact that the TSX has a timing chain instead of a belt. 8/9/2009 10:45:00 PM |

The TSX is more than an overpriced Honda. Actually, I think it's the Euro-spec Accord.
BUT...you get the 200 hp K20 engine as opposed to the 168 hp Accord engine. The interior quality is better. Car is tighter. And if you can find one with a stick, it'll be 6 speeds.
I don't think that spending a couple more thousand (ok, most likely 5 to 7 grand more) is such a bad move. It's definitely more fun to drive than the Accord, and I do love the interior. That said, the back seat is tighter than a million dollar whore for somebody of my size. 10/14/2009 4:30:33 PM |

TSX is K20, Accord is K24. 10/14/2009 5:15:51 PM |

the tsx does not contain an engine which displaces 2.0L. I think if we are both going to be vague with engine codes we can at least get to the root of the discrepancy. 10/14/2009 5:31:45 PM |

Off topic, but the 280 hp V6 TSX must be fun to drive, but unfortunately it doesn't come with the manual.
Oh, and Acura has seriously uglified the front of all their whole lineup with that shield-like grille. 10/14/2009 7:27:53 PM |
