I cant believe anyone would think it was a good idea to change an AM stations format to music. Between FM and satellite radio, why would you listen to music on AM?

Oh, and yeah...Capitol laid people off at the end of June, and now they are buying radio stations. Way to go.

He grew up a NC State fan, but ended up going to Clemson. I am so glad they are keeping him on 620 the bull, but at work I don't even get that. I listen on my phone everyday. I am really surprised they kept him because he kicks the other stations butts in ratings, but maybe thats why they will keep him because he will kill it for advertisers. http://www.southernfriedfootball.com

I don't really want to rehash all that too much since it was 3 years ago and I assume even Bomani has moved on given that I heard him hosting Storm Front one night. All I will say is that I don't understand bashing the hell out of your local team like that. If he doesn't like the sport, fine, but that article was a slap in the face to the area and all fans of the team.

Has anyone else noticed 99.9's signal getting weaker? I used to be able to pick it up clear no matter where I was. Now I can't get it inside at all, and it has intermittent static in my car.

This is a terrible move! It was just three years ago when weak signaled 1470/1070 flipped over from ESPN to music. If I wanted to listen to music on AM radio, I'd flip it over to those two stations. Ugh!

this has nothing to do with FSR, it was simply a matter of capital broadcast realizing that they had the inferior product so they bought the competition. Same reason 99 outbid 850/620 for espn radio several months back. 99 is unhappy with the product they put on the air and i would be shocked if any of their current hosts last past the end of thier current contracts.
