Zel had a good idea in the ps3 thread to see if anyone wanted to start sharing downloads and splitting the costs. It gets too cluttered trying to get everyone's PSN ID in the other thread and stay on other topics at the same time so I made a second thread.

Slickdeals has a thread on this but they can't seem to get their shit together.

Only downsides is that you can only have a limit of 16 account names on your ps3, and whatever account name you make to download the games (and share) with you cant delete after the download is complete.

just so you guys know, you don't share on a 'per game' basis. Once you've shared your account with someone, they have access to all your games. So, it's not like you can share MvC2 with 4 people and then turn around and share another game with 4 different people.

That's why it's important to get in with a group of people that actually buy shit on a fairly frequent basis.

I've got a ton of PSN content (and LOTS of rock band songs), I might be interested in sharing with someone that buys a lot content.

^yea sorry I should have elaborated, I would probably want to start a "new" account with 4 other people, seeing as how account creation is free. Also, seeing as how we only have 16 slots for accounts it would probably be a waste for one game so you are right that it is probably a good idea to buddy up with 4 other people that intend to buy content frequently.

But isn't that why you create a new user and download it/share it with that name and continue doing this for up to 16 names? (See the afterdawn link)

But you do have a point, it is much more efficient to pair up with people that have common interests, games that you would want, or are going to continue getting new material/willing to split cost on new material.

Haven't decided what I want to do for MvC2 yet because I feel way to apathetic to set up a paypal account =x, and adding incremental amounts of money to a PSN account balance with different credit cards seems sketch in a small way.
