8/12/2009 6:11:52 PM
buffalo brothers is good! woody's city market is alright too. but all time best is buffalo wild wings--sorry sometimes chains really do get it right!Ba Da wings has good specials--$.49 jumbo wings on tuesdays i think?--but the sauce is all runny and bad...it doesnt even stick to the wings. i prefer my wings to have a more crunchy texture--more breading i guess.
8/12/2009 6:12:53 PM
I had wings for lunch. They were my homemade joints. off the chain
8/12/2009 6:13:33 PM
ask for'em breaded then![Edited on August 12, 2009 at 6:14 PM. Reason : and the sauces there are dank]
8/12/2009 6:13:49 PM
goddamnit, i really need some wings. and some company with whom to enjoy them. tis a sad day when people are cooking for their gf's or dinner with the folks and ditching wings. punk asses!
8/12/2009 6:18:20 PM
oh shit i didn't know they could bread the wings at Bada... i prefer naked, but breaded is fun every now and then.
8/12/2009 6:22:25 PM
8/12/2009 6:23:58 PM
yeah i probably shouldnt say this but i was pleased with the sammy's sauceand yeah i like naked wings but go to bada sometime and try some wings breaded and extra crispy, OMGood
8/12/2009 6:25:46 PM
sammy's is OKi know a transvestite who works there
8/12/2009 6:27:09 PM
the price is alright, but the wing quality... like the quality of everything there is meh.
8/12/2009 6:27:14 PM
mk, you're totally off on this one. bada is the shitonly place that is better is Wings Over Grenville (or whatever city its in) because the garlic parm is fucking off the hook
8/12/2009 6:27:21 PM
nope sorry BaDa is doo doo
8/12/2009 6:29:04 PM
sammy's wings suck ass. if you think they're good you've obviously never had a decent wing before. bada is good. i miss bada
8/12/2009 6:29:52 PM
the brickhouse (formerly playmakers) has good wings, but you'll have to wait 45 minutes for them.
8/12/2009 6:30:31 PM
last time i had playmakers/brickhouse's wings, they were good. I agree that BaDa makes a tasty wing.
8/12/2009 6:33:45 PM
maybe i'll have to give bada another try and request that they be more breaded.i like "the bar" next door.
8/12/2009 6:34:28 PM
why can't any of these places be in north raleigh? the only spot worth going to up this-a-way is Wild Wing Cafe. and quite frankly, fuck brier creek
8/12/2009 6:35:55 PM
because north raleigh sucks, duh.
8/12/2009 6:39:19 PM
i'll let management know how you feel. but not even a good place around north hills? or by Rudinos? shit, they should look into a decent wing...c'mon!

hooters does 10 piece boneless wings, fries, and blue cheese/ranch for $5.99 on wednesday(real wings > boneless, but its not a bad price)
8/12/2009 10:47:39 PM
All Wednesdays in August - $1.60 for 10 wings at Buffalo Cafe. Went there tonight and they weren't half-bad. They were nice and crunchy and the "scorching" sauce was pretty tasty. The $1.60 deal a special they are running in August for their 16 years in business. Its $1.60 for the first 10 wings for everyone in attendance (every customer is entitled to 10 wings at that price, after that they are full price). Also, Miller draft is 1.60 for the first beer. I got 20 wings (used someone else's 10), fries, and a beer for $6.

8/12/2009 11:21:19 PM
buffalos cafe used to have all you can eat for $9.99 when I was in HS. but theirs aren't that great. It's quite alright, GenghisJohn, for perhaps someday, we can acquire some CHICKEN WINGS
