8/13/2009 12:04:51 AM
Ahhhh this reminds me of an ongoing debate in my circle of friends: Who has made better movies? Nicholas Cage or Bruce Willis?I say Nick Cage based purely on him having made way more movies than Bruce, so the ratio of suck isn't as high.

Bruce Willis was in Pulp Fiction. there's your winner

Knowing was such a shitastic movie. If they had advertised the movie as what it was I wouldn't have bothered watching it.

after hearing an interview with Eric Roberts i don't really mind Nic Cage taking every movie handed to him.Eric Roberts said that hollywood and its fans have this ideology that the big name movie stars are supposed to only do 1-2 films a year and to have these groundbreaking roles that really move you. And to do more films takes away from your stardom and star power. And yeah that can be true, but he just wanted to act. He loved making films and working and travelling and the thought of only making 1 film a year and only working for 4 months out of the year didn't appeal to him. So he said fuck the critics and started making movies because he felt like it and wanted to. and if it made him a B-list actor instead of A-list star it didnt matter because he was still doing what he loved. If Nic Cage loves to work, so be it.[Edited on August 13, 2009 at 9:57 AM. ^^ I don't think there's anything wrong with practicing some sort of taste in choosing your roles Then again, I've always been more of a Bruce Willis fan when it comes to corny movies.

^ oh, damn. the site you hotlinked it from is blocked by my corporate firewall guess that explains why no one repeated it... i thought this thread was about Nik Cage. ^^ yeah, i saw parts of 2 out of 3 of those. lame plot, weak acting, marketed to adolescent males. Nik Cage ruined it with that shitty "Leaving Las Vegas", and I havent been able to stand watching his smoldery pouts ever since.Bruce Willis >>>>>>> Nicholas Cage.[Edited on August 13, 2009 at 1:55 PM.
