so apparently when you tell AT&T to stop service on saturday because you're moving... they cut it off at fucking MIDNIGHT on saturday, lol. our receivers stopped working at midnight, which doesn't surprise me, i guess... but still.anyway, i tried plugging into the cable outlet in case TWC was too lazy to come and physically disconnect our lines, but i got nothing... already packed up all of my stuff so i had nothing remotely close to an antenna...then i saw this copper lizard sculpture my aunt got me that is awesome... i found a long ass piece of coax under my bed... stuck the center conductor in the lizard's eye and told my TV to scan for channels, completely not expecting it to work...it found every channel and they're coming in perfectly

the normal WRAL/WTVD/WNCNplus for some reason i'm picking up a channel from greensboro/lexington/burlington... WCWG... maybe this thing works better than i think, haha... too lazy to look up the tower location in FLS though.

Picking up WFMY here (or any of the triad stations) is pretty awesome with that setup. WFMY's tower is right off US-220/I-73 near Level Cross. The 145.25 ham repeater is on top of their tower.
