Anybody here use internet faxing for both sending and receiving faxes? At the office it seems like we are having to replace our fax toner cartridge all the time and so we're looking into other options. We currently have an older all-in-one style fax machine and I'd be curious to find out if anybody knows whether newer fax machines can manually send faxes but then route incoming faxes to a computer. Also, we don't want one of the free fax services that places ads on your faxes. Any help would be appreciated!

i have a fax number that sends faxes directly to my email address as PDFs

it was a lifesaver when i was buying my house and was homeless for 30 days

other than that, i never use it for work

we use rightfax at work, but we also do several hundred automated faxes a day. If you're doing high volume faxing it might be worth the cost.

I'm pretty good with Faxpress, and it works well enough that I'd recommend it, assuming you send a lot of faxes.

i've used trustfax for incoming, they are pretty cheap i think compared to jfax.. you can still use an old cheap fax machine for outgoing, works generally well since it doesn't require consumables to send out.

We use Efax extensively and it has worked really well. Im starting to play with the Developers kit from Efax to automate alot of the process right now.
