I have a LG Shine, a couple months old, AT&T.

It was fine last night, but this morning it stopped working completely. I just left it on the desk, didn't do anything to it.

The buttons do not respond anymore, and it keeps trying to connect to "USSD Service", but then an error message would pop up saying "unexpected data". It does this every 30-35 minutes.

I took the battery out but same thing keeps happening.

Can not turn off the phone either without taking out the battery. I read the manual, didn't see anything in there. The phone can receive calls, but I can't "accept" them.

Can't afford a new phone, PLEASE HELP!

P.S- Called Customer Service at LG, they basically just told me to send it for repair $$$.

Take it to an AT&T store. Show it to them. Give receipt. Allow them to hand you a new one.
