Of course not, which is why I raised the topic two posts up. Just as the democrats were wrong in how they passed ObamaCare ("we'll see whats in it when we pass it"), the republicans are wrong in their secrecy now (see, some of us have integrity and are not afraid to call bullshit when it's coming from the right or left). the first ACA draft was available for weeks before even their first hearing

^^Uh, you do realize that that Pelosi's quote was entirely metaphorical and basically everyone in Congress had read the bill. Obamacare was legislated and debated in full view of the public for a year. We saw multiple versions from both the House and Senate that eventually became the ACA and available for all to read and analyze months before the final votes. There was never any effort to actually prevent members of Congress or the press from reading the bill (if it even exists) as we're seeing here.
