The media already reported on those attacks. Why would they be hiding them now?

Every single headline or lead in to a news report started with "Trump lies again about easily verifiable facts..."

How is that winning?

After the election cycle, the majority of Americans don't trust the media.

So a news outlet that has only pushed negative Trump pieces since he said he was running for president isn't going to do any damage. If Trump can get them to actually talk about something he wants them to (terrorism) it doesn't matter how many times the paper insults Trump. He's immune to the leftist media. It is amazing

Never said they are. Just pointing out that negative headlines from a press that has no credibility aren't going to stop Trump. He has a very loyal 40% base that are only further entrenched by media attacks.

Had the press simply been objective and had any semblance of integrity, none of this would have happened and we would have had JEB! in the whitehouse.

So you're not going to address the fact that heavily reported terror attacks were on the list provided by Trump's team while somehow the Charleston and Quebec are absent? K, cool.

Why would Trump include anecdotes that conflict with the narrative he is trying to spin? That would be like Obama commending a concealed carry holder stopping a robbery.

This is the most frightening aspect of Trumpkins for me. More and more are coming around to the fact that Trump is a verifiable liar, they just don't care.

That isn't a "lie", that is politics.

What is frightening to me is everything you hacks attack Trump for, Obama did too but unless the media tells you to be outraged, you don't care.

I don't recall Obama coming out with a list of underreported terrorist attacks which listed heavily reported ones which 'happened' to have been committed by Muslims and not listed actually underreported ones which 'happened' to have been committed by white Westerners.

Trump lies at a far greater rate than anyone who has ever held office by a wide margin. He is pathological and not even about important things.

You can argue that it doesn't effect his ability to govern I guess but if someone denies that they are being deliberately obtuse.

Obama has been just as selective with anecdotal bullshit to further narratives he supported. The difference is the press fawned over Obama, whereas it is a bloodbath between Trump and the media.

Wow, it took you six days to come up with that response?

I've come to expect more quality trolling from you; that was just fucking pathetic. The list even mentions San Bernardino and Orlando, for Christ's sake. "Under reported" LOL

You should probably just retire from trolling at this point; you fucking suck at it now, comrade. On the other hand, I doubt you have any other skills. Sad.

These folks are just rife with honesty today,

Quote :
"Rand Paul on Flynn: 'Makes no sense' to investigate fellow Republicans

"I think that might be excessive. It looks like the President has handled the situation, and unless there's some kind of other evidence of malfeasance, this sounds like something that was internal White House politics and it looks like the President's handled it," Paul told the "Kilmeade and Friends" radio show.

"I just don't think it's useful to be doing investigation after investigation, particularly of your own party. We'll never even get started with doing the things we need to do, like repealing Obamacare, if we're spending our whole time having Republicans investigate Republicans. I think it makes no sense.""

Hilarious to watch Trumpification of the GOP leading to a self immolation.

Getting outraged over it and trying to get them to dump him is exactly the wrong approach.

If CPAC wants to go this route and have this sick asshole be their headline speaker by all means go for it. It only makes them look bad.

I think Mike Vance on Bill Maher nailed it in pointing out Milo's edginess is entirely projection.

It's really seeming like he was abused himself, and to cope with it, he insults everything and everyone around him.

Or he just likes the money and attention and so far because of Breitbart, it has all just worked out for him.

He just out our as apologetic a statement I've ever seen from him.

My guess is either Breitbart or his book deal forced him to. Part of us schtick was he would never apologize for words. Well, he just did.

Quote :
"The legislation proposes that a “person shall not be hired as a professor or instructor member of the faculty at such an institution if the person’s political party affiliation on the date of hire would cause the percentage of faculty belonging to one political party to exceed by ten percent the percentage of faculty belonging to the other political party.”

The Secretary of State’s office would be directed to provide voter registration lists to the colleges so that new job applicants’ party affiliation could be checked before the hiring process gets underway. Graciously, Chelgren allows for people registered as No Party to slip through the process without facing the litmus test.

The obvious impact and purpose of this bill would be to ban Democrats from getting hired anymore at Iowa colleges. If you took a survey right now, it’s highly likely that Iowa professors are registered as Democrats at a much higher rate than Republican. So any new hires would be strictly limited to Republican or No Party voters.

Of course not, which is why I raised the topic two posts up. Just as the democrats were wrong in how they passed ObamaCare ("we'll see whats in it when we pass it"), the republicans are wrong in their secrecy now (see, some of us have integrity and are not afraid to call bullshit when it's coming from the right or left). But instead of just being straight forward and calling the R's out on it, the D's have turned this into a political sideshow, which will only cause each side to dig in their heels.

the first ACA draft was available for weeks before even their first hearing

this shitshow is all of the GOP making. rather than trying to fix and improve the ACA, they did their best to make it worse then for years lied to people about what would happened if it was repealed and promised to repeal it, then said they would repeal and replace and now its clear they don't have a good plan for how to replace it.

republicans dug the pit, and republicans filled it with shit

^^Uh, you do realize that that Pelosi's quote was entirely metaphorical and basically everyone in Congress had read the bill. Obamacare was legislated and debated in full view of the public for a year. We saw multiple versions from both the House and Senate that eventually became the ACA and available for all to read and analyze months before the final votes. There was never any effort to actually prevent members of Congress or the press from reading the bill (if it even exists) as we're seeing here.

To be fair to HCH, he has a solid history of using critical thought to wade through the bitter partisanship and rancor in our houses of congress, and offer stunningly accurate AND unbiased opinions to this site's users, free of charge!

Just like that time the NC GOP was stripping incoming Governor Cooper of many of his powers through a series of bills, which HCH thought had bipartisan support (because that makes sense):

Quote :
"Have these been completely partisan? I've read these bills have bi-partisan support."

He even went so far to say:

Quote :
"HB117 [sic] received bipartisan support."

http://www.ncleg.net/gascripts/BillLookUp/BillLookUp.pl?Session=2015E4&BillID=H17

So, give the guy a break.

He's clearly as nonpartisan as they come.
