I think that one episode of the X-files that disturbed me as a kid makes this movie unusually creepy for me.

Saw this tonight. I thought it was creepier than Paranormal Activity if that means anything. Pretty good stuff and leaves you with things to think about.

^ No, but some people were. Of course, I saw the original ending version but I don't see that fact changing my mind. Paranormal Activity seemed like nothing more than a glorified episode of Ghost Hunters IMO

This movie is garbage. Probably the worst movie I have seen since "The Day the Earth Stood Still".

Its basically a big wad of lies presented as "Facts". Apparently I am the only person who immediately saw through the BS.

It kinda of pisses me off that a movie can get away with this. In the film there was a lot of documentary footage, that was made to look like it was real footage. They interspersed the fake documentary footage with a few bits of real footage to make you think it was all real.

The acting was bad, especially the sheriff, and the woman who played the part of the actual "Dr Tyler" in the interview.

Paranormal Activity is not a scary movie in itself. While your watching it, it is suspenseful at times but you probably won't be scared. What is scary is dealing with the ghosts in your mind after watching the movie. When you get home, your looking around corners and thinking twice before walking the dog late at night.

The Fourth Kind isn't even a good movie if you ignore the fact that its all fictional horseshit presented as fact.
