Seriously, when the Police park a cruiser at a gas station & leave it there for over a month in the same spot...does that really deter crime?

It does if it's one of those cars that tranforms into a robot.

i think it certainly deters speeding. even though i know there is always one in a parking lot i slow down because if i was a cop i would go sit in the car one time and catch everyone who never thought there was someone in it

They do this at a bank on Kildaire Rd. in Cary right across from the Taco Bell. Never understood the point.....I mean....it's in the same spot ALL THE TIME.

For criminals that are passing through the area, it does deter crime. Most criminals don't live in the areas that they victimize IIRC, but Cary definitely takes it to the next level of nuts.
