it was going super slow so i hit the reset button bc thats what i used to do on the old one i used to have

apparently this one does not work that way. as now it isn't secure anymore and i'm not entirely sure it will work if i unplug the router from my computer :/

mine resets like that too...you gotta set it up again...try 192.168.0.0 or some varient of that to get into the router setup

Did this last night on my linksys router. It resets the SSID name and makes it unencrypted (if it was previously encrypted).

If it's the same as with a linksys:
Type in 192.168.1.1 in your browser window
Username and password: it's the default. For linksys it's "admin" and nothing for password.
Then you can go back and reset stuff.
