I recently had a stereo installed in my car, which came with an iPod connection so I no longer need this. It's honestly one of my favorite car accessories I've ever owned. Bought it originally for $100 a couple years ago. Selling it for $60 OBO.
Works with most iPods. Comes with adapter to use with Nano and Mini. I have an 80gb and it works great. I had an iTrip prior to the transpod and it was horrible. I could never listen to music without some static and I would often lose the station. Never had that problem with the transpod. If you're traveling and starting to lose the station, you can hit a button on the side of it which changes to another station you have preset. The iTrip also didn't charge my ipod like the transpod does.
* Play, charge and cradle your iPod with one simple, secure device * Transmits iPod's music to your existing radio already in your car (using FM channels 88.1 to 107.9) * 4 assignable presets let you jump to commonly used frequencies * Plugs into any available auto power outlet

Why would you want to do that? that's the opposite to what you want to do.8/27/2009 3:32:36 PM |

^ say you're traveling on 40 and your station starts to pick up a lot of static...press the button and it changes to another frequency you commonly use. i only really used two different ones. 8/27/2009 4:51:25 PM |

He's talking about the "commonly used frequencies" part.
You want a frequency that isn't commonly used. 8/27/2009 6:02:35 PM |

it means frequencies that you commonly use for the ipod, not frequencies commonly used by radio stations. in other words, frequencies that you have tested and know don't typically have a lot of radio traffic.

I go to eBay for all my iPod accessories. They are dirt fucking cheap on there. I just bought a bundle that had 2 car chargers, 2 wall chargers, 2 retractable USB cables, 2 armband cases, and 2 other cases for $15 with free shipping. 8/27/2009 6:13:55 PM |

Did you buy this at the Bookstore? I'm terribly sorry. Sometimes the distributors rip them a new asshole on accessory pricing and sometimes it's a fantastic deal.8/27/2009 7:01:20 PM |
