8/31/2009 9:57:19 PM

8/31/2009 10:04:18 PM
my camera sucks and he is camera shy...thanks to Skwinkle for giving me the hamster!
9/1/2009 12:21:24 AM
is this a dwarf or a siberian? i had a siberian!he liked to make a nest in the top box, so he'd drag stuff up there and id throw shavings in to save him the trouble. thats where hed usually sleep and stuff. had the same cage thing and all...after a while the poop/pee/fur mixture cakes up in the pipe cracks...ew! but cute!!
9/1/2009 12:24:13 AM
hm i think a dwarf. i'm not sure =/ thanks for the heads up on the shit pipes lol
9/1/2009 12:25:40 AM
9/1/2009 12:27:18 AM
They are robo dwarfs. And I have another baby up for grabs!
9/1/2009 12:27:32 AM

9/1/2009 12:27:50 AM

9/1/2009 12:28:30 AM
hey tara do you know exactly which day they were born?
9/1/2009 12:29:14 AM
Yeah, 2 years is a decent run. They are really cute ... you know you want one ...^ I don't remember exactly[Edited on September 1, 2009 at 12:31 AM. Reason : .]
9/1/2009 12:29:52 AM
2 years is about the maximum lifespan for these things. And that mother fucker is going to escape like 5 times a week.
9/1/2009 12:31:02 AM
i bumped your thread about it on the 25, so i'm gonna say 24th or 25 of july
9/1/2009 12:34:20 AM
I'm gonna isolate the other baby tomorrow. Don't want any more accidents.
9/1/2009 12:37:18 AM
cuuuuuuute
9/1/2009 12:41:09 AM
^^haha^thanks carlton or charlton? going with either carlton from fresh prince of bel air or charlton heston
9/1/2009 12:49:51 AM
I like Carlton. His mom and dad's names are Pete & Pete. That made more sense when they were both dudes.
9/1/2009 12:52:17 AM
wtf are you doing owning a hamster?come on guys, we're in our 20s
9/1/2009 12:53:45 AM
carlton it is^this was super easy. probably about 30 dollars all together gas included. craigslist and walmart ftwand the cupcake was muy bien[Edited on September 1, 2009 at 1:05 AM. Reason : .]
9/1/2009 1:05:32 AM
damn dude, clean that place up... looks like a fucking pigsty...
9/1/2009 1:07:02 AM
you're going to want to put some kind of hook on that front door, like a bent paper clip or something. my hamster figured out how to open it within a week
9/1/2009 1:14:59 AM
^^its cluttered but its def not a pigsty. its an organized clutter^will do. although this thing is only 5 weeks and like 1 ounce. so i probably can wait a while
9/1/2009 1:21:12 AM
Y'all have some impressive hamsters. Mine have never chewed through plastic (they chew on the bars but that doesn't do anything). They have never escaped either.
9/1/2009 1:21:49 AM
in before the "my hamster, help me find it" thread
9/1/2009 2:59:11 AM
Hamsters are assholes. Without exception. They are aggressive and bitey and overall inferior to properly-maintained gerbils or pretty much any rats.In the recognition of full disclosure, a hamster once cost me about a pint of blood.
9/1/2009 3:01:56 AM
^Did you get checked for rabies?
9/1/2009 3:05:39 AM
No, but it was several years ago. I feel safe now.
9/1/2009 3:07:12 AM
i have a video of my snake EATING a hamsterthat's pretty cool, right?
9/1/2009 7:42:20 AM
i just cleaned out his cage so i put him in this pitcher
9/14/2009 12:59:11 AM
oh my fucking godmy dumbass meredith broad neighbor got me to take him out. ok fine. i give him to her and she doesnt even keep him in her hand, she puts it on her pants. it immediately bolts. i try to get him but he gets out of my grasp. immediately look under the futon and hes vanished. now i cant find him. she helped me look but now has to go to the doctor. and the screen door was cracked like an inch where it can't shut all the way. so now i'm wondering if looking is fruitless because he got outside and lost or if hes still in the apt...
9/14/2009 4:04:05 PM
Get a cat
9/14/2009 4:07:57 PM
put grapes in the middle of the room. Those fuckers love grapes. Wait. Profit.Or you can get a really small Hav-A-Hart trap and stock it with similar fresh edibles.
9/14/2009 4:11:58 PM
hamsters escape a lot, that's what they do.Is this a woman you're banging? She sounds dumb enough.
9/14/2009 4:15:36 PM
oh no. He is probably hidden in a dark spot somewhere in your apartment. I'm sure he'll turn up soon.
9/14/2009 4:16:35 PM
that thing looks tasty. i would gut it then hang it about 10 inches above a small campfire. after getting all the meat i would put the bones in a metal coffee can on the coals and eat them in the morning for the calcium
9/14/2009 4:18:23 PM
there was only like a 2 second gap from me losing my grasp to checking under the futon...hes fast but i mean theres only so far he coulda gone. i hope hes still inside but part of me is thinking if he went straight to the door where the crack is he is outside. if hes outside would he stay close or bon voyage?
9/14/2009 4:20:35 PM
When my siblings and I had hamsters as kids and they got away they were usually just hiding in a corner, or behind the fridge or someplace like that, bmel is probably right.
9/14/2009 4:21:54 PM
do the carlton dance and see if he comes seriously, hope you find the little bugger. try treats, etc.
9/14/2009 4:23:08 PM
My sister had a gerbil that one time ate through its feeder and escaped. Our cats cornered it behind a cabinet in the dining room and we were able to scoop it up. The Havahart mouse and chipmunk trap looks to be a good solution for under $20:
9/14/2009 4:25:21 PM
found him. had a duffel bag in my closet with an old rug in it. picked it up to check around it and saw him scurry around in it. YAY [Edited on September 14, 2009 at 4:27 PM. Reason : edit]
9/14/2009 4:26:27 PM
oh and make sure there are no open water containers in the house (big cups, 8 gallon buckets, etc.). hadone get loose once and drown trying to get himself a drink before i found him
9/14/2009 4:29:03 PM
glad you found carlton and hope you never let dumb bitches hold him again.
9/14/2009 4:29:06 PM
^^awwwww- thats awful! ^i will do my best. idk what i was thinking. only reason she was over was cause i was trying to milk her for gossip on why 4 cop cars came to her place yesterday.
9/14/2009 4:30:47 PM
you need to clean off that table
9/14/2009 4:33:56 PM
also, if they get wet they turn green and get really freakin angry
9/14/2009 4:34:46 PM
Start with the stapler from 1968
