touchless though...what do you mean...like you won't have to do shit, or the machine minus water of course won't touch your car?

I believe the BP at the corner of Hillsborough and Gorman has one

touchless sucks...for the money, you might as well pull into a "do-it-yourself" and only use the pre-rinse

touchless doesn't do as good of a job as a machine or a hands on job would ofc. but it does successfully get 80+% of the shit off your car.

I've heard it can grind sand or other debris in and cause minor marks in the paint, but I don't know. I still use them. I don't own a car that I care to spend a ton of time detailing.

i've never seen a car damaged by a carwash...it's always a friend of a friend of a friend who knows a guy

in theory, it makes sense that if you have something that absolutely won't come off using the high-pressure sprays, then the brushes might grab it and then grind it into your paint...and then when you think about how those brushes spin and how they're constantly flushed with water (or soap), you realize it's very unlikely

but whatever...i scratched the crap out of my roof transporting a kayak, i certainly don't care enough to waste my time on a half-assed carwash
