I was amazed at how loud it was (on TV) late in the game when we had the ball. I dunno if they just had the SC fans mic'ed up or what but it was loud as shit. As a whole, I'd have to say our fans suck as much as, if not more than the team did tonight. Very disappointing all around.

yeah, I've never really liked the wave. The fans were quiet for the most part when we were going to the line but in the huddle, not so much. It's funny sitting outside the student section for the first time. It's like the student section is all rowdy and excited but everyone else is blah.

Also, doesn't the band always start it? Or at least the students next to the band.

Also I thought the students were pretty quiet during that final drive. I was in section 7 though, so maybe it was the other zones where all the drunkards end up.
