there's a guy in our neighborhood whom calls the cops at every little sound. Even gets a few tickets issued. So there's this one party (not mine) cops show up, everyone got realy quiet so the cops like "what's the deal", calls the guy up, asks if he'll walk over and identify the noise. Dude comes over from next street, and the kids who were having the party start in on him, why didn't you call us first, you could have knocked on the door. Cop tells the dudes that they're telling people NOT to confront parties in phone or in person, apparantly there have been a few ass whoopins'. Raleigh has a hard on for this new PROP thing, one officer is full time-funded from fines: if neighbors don't include the cops in chain of notifications, no loot for the pole-eese. So the moral of the story is, RPD are looking to make some extra cash with nuisance party tickets.

also i would like to add that complaints are almost always warranted, stop acting like a douche neighbor

and yea theres no reason to confront a party of perceivably rowdy individuals when the police can be called, thats sound advice they shouldnt have to put up with your stupid bullshit and given your celebration of "ass-whoopins" i hope he calls the cops on you if you drop a spoon on your porch at 9:30 at night[Edited on September 6, 2009 at 10:24 PM. I sometimes forget that TWW is populated by old farts these days. Threads like this one remind me otherwise.

I think the median age of TWW is about 35 now. They just want you to stay off their gall durn lawn.
