i was in raleigh this weekend. had some interesting times exploring old haunts. i went and read the entries i made in my fraternities roster and that was interesting to see what i wrote when i was in my early 20s and teens.

i miss college. i want to get my mba but i dont have the $ for school. although i hear i can get all kinds of money now that i'm independent and pay my own bill$

Depends where you go - for graduate school the government considers you as connected to your parents for ever and ever. But some schools will offer private funding, ignoring your parent's income when you reach a certain age.

i can't really say i enjoyed my time in college. i missed out on that whole social life thing. if i wasn't in class, i was at working to pay my way or doing homework. oddly enough, i have money and time now, but still no social life thing.

I'm loving grad school. I worked for 3 years after undergrad before being able to afford grad school, & while grad school still has more responsibility than undergrad did, it is still a shift towards having more control over my daily routine. I probably spend as much time working on school/homework/readings/projects as I did when I was working full time, but at least it is on my own schedule & I don't have to get up at 5:00am any more.
