Nah, it's been a pretty good decade to be a fan. Two Men's National Championships, undefeated in four games against Duke (who I hate) and molded in to a pretty good football program for a team that wasn't even 1-A eight years ago.

And about the trolling... tell that to the masses. I'm not particularly obnoxious about anything on here, yet I get followed around and bombarded with PMs pretty much any time they lose. Quite sad actually...

For what it's worth, lots of articles (Andy Katz on ESPN and a lot of the CT media horde) stating that the NCAA doesn't even think the circumstantial evidence brought forward in that Yahoo! exclusive (written by a noted Calhoun hater/Calipari lover) is even worth opening up an investigation over because it is a dead end.

At most, it is a few more phone calls than accepted (as texts were not illegal at that point). Nothing significantly more than Chrissy Collins going to see John Wall play an exhibition game during a dead period.

Honestly, UConn has done some shady shit (though legal -- Gay)... but they can't even afford to build a new practice facility for the program. I highly doubt they have donors lining the pockets of recruits...

But people will say what they want.

** And actually, Duke's most successful NBA players right now were swing guys mostly so my post didn't make much sense...

Disappointing season for sure. Kemba will be back at least and he looked great the second half and they have a Rudy Gay-clone coming in (roscoe smith). Dyson was fucking horrid the last five or so games.

Only thing I have to look forward to in March is the inevitable Sweet 16 Duke collapse.

I actually like UConn, when they're not playing State. UNC fans say they shouldn't be in the ACC because of academics...which is ironically laughable. And they're one of the handful of teams with multiple titles in the last dozen years, they'd help make the ACC an elite bball conference a lot more than Pitt, Notre Dame and the BC/VT/Mia adds.

But they're playing Kentucky, and me and muh other Vols fans have to pull for the SEC!

Unless people really think that academics of an entire school are reflected in the men's basketball team. I mean its well known Sean Dockery couldn't read when he got into Duke. Surely no one believed no Duke students could read?

UConn would be the around median for ACC academics (now top 20 public school and close to gaining AAU status). Duke at the top and Louisville about 200 slots below that.

Regardless they will never be in the ACC...
