perhapsI tend to perceive people who like trance as candy ravers, tweakers, and acid tripping types.and people who like jam bands as pot heads who might dabble in the occasional psychedelic.but i could definitely have it backwards.

See, there's where you're going off track. Candy ravers do not listen to trance.
9/16/2009 2:56:53 PM
Ok, what do you listen to then?

I'm just saying that the "candy rave" demographic doesn't listen to anything remotely close to Orbital. They'd be more likely to listen to something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTZF3nGW_nk

I am perhaps the oddest trance listener. I have only ever been to two concerts/semi raves. Never been to a proper rave, never done acid or ecstasy, never danced with any of that crazy stuff in my hands or on my head. And > 90% of my music is trance.^ Yeah that's "Eurodance"... at least that what I call it. There are only a few songs in that genre that I like. The rest are just the same and predictable.[Edited on September 16, 2009 at 3:23 PM. Reason : ]
