So how many this week? I say he has a great game and only throws 3 picks and fumbles twice.

What's the over/under?

Also, what are the odds of seeing AJ "Hopefully I won't have to play this year" Feeley?

We fucking get it. You Panther fans are unhappy with the quarterback situation. Can we keep all this Delhomme bitching in one thread?

No, its way more fun spread across three

I say two picks and a fumble

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt

i think he has a typical jake game of 180 yds with a td and 2 ints. not horrible, not great, just mediocre

I think it will go something like this;

Poor game for the most part, the Panthers will squeak by with a solid defensive showing, and despite Delhomme's 3 picks and a fumble, he will manage to get off a bomb to Steve Smith who will score and win them the game, thus tricking Panther's fans into a false sense of a security, and ruining yet another season with a QB who needs to be cut... PS I am not a Panther's fan.

Jake will take 3 sacks, throw 1 pick, fumble once and throw for 210 yards with 2 tds.

You and I both know that if Jake is getting sacked 3 times, that's at least 2 fumbles right there.

Fox needs to be like James Caan did to Omar Epps and make Jake carry the football around with him at all times for a week while the rest of the teammates try to strip it

Fuck it, print it in the paper telling all the fans to strip it too

Something like ^

And one of the TD's is a short slant to Smith that goes 40 yards after the catch.

Good enough game to keep his job.

^^^Daniel Evans was a former walk-on who made his way to starter. Don't still hate on him.

Jake Delhomme is a PRO that gets paid MILLIONS and sucks ass....and always has, its just now more obvious.

I'm predicting two touchdowns and 0 interceptions/fumbles. Why? Because I just picked up the Falcons' Defense on my fantasy team to capitalize off of Delhomme's turnover problems.

What a moronic argument. He's completely hit rock bottom so... GO JAKE!!! HE'S GONNA TURN IT AROUND.

This guy is DONE. Put a fork in him.

I guess if you go ahead and give up on Jake, when gametime comes on Sunday, and you're expecting 5 turnovers and he only gets 1, you can be like "huh, not bad Jake, not bad"

as Panthers fans, from Jake Haters to Jake Lovers, to everyone in between, what we need this week in Atlanta is a win...as the Cats emerge victorious, from the city that gave us the likes of Martin Luther King Jr. and Jermaine Dupree...we will be victorious, we will be 1-1 on the season, and we WILL do the dirty bird annoyingly as we leave the Georgia Dome since all those Falcons fan cocksuckers like to do that shit down the ramps at BofA Stadium

pretty good article by Simmons
Quote :
"Much better. I have two Adrian Peterson thoughts. First, he combines my favorite single qualities of five different great running backs: Walter Payton (the move where he breaks a tackle, then stiff-arms a tackler coming from behind to buy a second while getting his legs churning again); Barry Sanders (the part where he's so electric that it's just not worth betting heavily against his team because he can singlehandedly break you); Eric Dickerson (the way he cruises through a hole and you wait for him to kick it into another gear for a split second before realizing he's running away from everyone already); Emmitt Smith (a nasty edge that can only be described as "Look, there's no way we're losing this game and that's that"); and O.J. Simpson (killing).

OK, just kidding about the last one. Peterson never killed anyone, and the Juice was acquitted, remember? (He was totally innocent! The jury said so and everything.)
But can you think of another potentially great athlete who combined the best qualities of four legends? Me neither.
"
