Today is technically the last day of summer. How would you rank the summer movies, that you have seen, from May until now? Feel free to add independent releases if you want.

Wow. I've only seen two and a half of these. Thanks for the list, it'll help me make sure I see the ones I missed but wanted to see. Of the 2.5 I saw:
1. A good movie. 2. <gulf between a good movie and what I saw> 3. Drag Me To Hell 4. <huge gulf between average and terrible> 5. Plan 9 From Outer Space 6. Wolverine & G.I. Joe 9/20/2009 11:50:47 PM |

Up - Best movie I saw this summer Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - good, but could have been better The Hangover - Really funny, solid comedy District 9 - Really good, but think it was hyped a little too much All About Steve - better than expected, decent for a date movie(she picked) Transformers 2 - It was about what I expected Terminator Salvation - Eh, wasn't terrible, but was hoping for much more
Still want to see: Star Trek, Inglorious Basterds, Gamer, Drag Me to Hell 9/21/2009 12:00:29 AM |

I missed some because the website I used didn't list all the Wednesday releases. Carl face on my part.

honestly there were no good movies by my standards, only ones i didnt regret paying for with that said
X-Men wolverine: about as close to a good fun movie Star Trek: very not bad UP: decent, but i hate the humor of these kind of movies District 9: most unique & intersting new film in a long time Angels & demons: sucked, plot, characters, all uninteresting Terminator 4: forgettable GI Joe: watch it with very low expectation, mildly fun 9/21/2009 8:54:32 AM |

Inglorious Basterds Star Trek - I'm not even a Start Trek fan, but this was a great movie District 9 - I thought the premise was neat all around, could have intermixed the documentary and action sequences a little better Drag Me to Hell Funny People - not as funny as it tried to be; awkward at times A Perfect Getaway Dance Flick - despite many stupid parts, had some very funny scenes Transformers 2 - predictable, too drawn out at the end Bruno Terminator IV - made T3 look like an Oscar winner Year One - dumb, dumb, dumb 9/21/2009 2:52:03 PM |

add (500) Days of Summer
Movies I saw, and in the order I'd rank them (gaps in there for a reason)
(the first 3 are tough for me to rank. I think b/c they're different genres) Star Trek The Hangover Inglourious Basterds District 9
Transformers 2 X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Terminator IV G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra Angels and Demons 9/22/2009 12:09:56 PM |
