Any way to get it off of WRAL News 14?

search through the menu...i have it as the channel that was last on when I turned it off.

i just got done doing exactly that. i'll cycle through it again, thanks. i've always hated that default setting.

I checked through Menu -> Settings but couldn't find anything.. All I get is Devices (which has nothing that I saw for this), Audio/SAP, Language, Closed Captioning and Caller ID

ah so helpful. thanks smoothcrim, you're a lifesaver. i mean really, i never could have gotten through this day without you.

for anyone else that might not know where to go for this setting, on your remote:
Push Menu
Push the left or right arrow keys to cycle through the Menus until you get to Display
Select Power On Channel
Push Select on the channel you want
Push the C button to save and exit the menu

Somebody lock up this one please.

i got my power-on channel set to ESPNewsHD

Who powers the box off? It pulls about .2 watts less when off. Pointless other than to quell the 5M lumen LED's.
