I need to buy 4-5 lbs of deer meat, fresh or frozen, doesnt matter.

Is there a place in Raleigh I can get that from? I googled and didn't find anything.

That said, I'm sure somebody does, but I'm not sure who that'd be.

Since when? As long as it's not wild meat the USDA doesn't care.

There used to be a guy at the farmers market that sold it. No idea if he's still there. There's also a ton of vendors if you search for "venison sale" on google.

i think what he was trying to say is that it's illegal for a regular hunters to sell the deer they kill. they can give it away, though.

^ is what I really meant; honestly didn't mean to shoot that down or anything. I'd honestly never heard of it being sold period; I just knew hunters couldn't sell it.
