I think my stats might be a little skewed however because a lot of my liberal friends have things other than Democrat as their political stance. I, for instance, have "Freedom" as mine. A lot of my friends who are conservative are much more apt to put Republican party as their political stance, which in my opinion is asinine and shows they know little about the actual political spectrum. I'm not a fan at all of listing a party as your political stance. It's vague and passive.

I don't think this is the most accurate count either. I would assume part of it is that Republicans are probably less likely to display their political identification especially after the party's rather embarrassing decline and collapse over the last decade. Also, I wonder how they calculate those who have no political affiliation. Simply dropping them will likely skew results as well (maybe I have 400 friends but out of those, 7 are Democrats and 3 are Republicans, so my breakdown shows 70% are Democrats).

^ that’s true. Most people don’t indicate a realistic affiliation on FB. Mine says “other” for example.

It’s funny though that at least one of my friends did the same thing, and they turned out to have more republican friends, and the favorite book among her friends was “the bible”. heh
