Has anyone ever used this?
http://www.cardscan.com/products/core_contact_mgmt/personal/index.asp
How well does it work? Is it easy to have it work with Excel?
Thank you 10/5/2009 8:09:50 PM |

get one of these instead and have something that can do a hell of a lot more than business cards (and work better than the cardscan product):

^ I found the CardScan one where I can get it for $39. That is $495....I think I will stick with the $39 if it works decent. All I am going to use it for is scanning in cards so I don't spend countless hours doing that nonsense! 10/5/2009 8:15:52 PM |

hah, well, for $39 it's a steal. never mind then.

okay cool. Do you know how those things work? I don't really know about them...I just know I was sitting in a doctor's office typing them in and this man looked at me like I was crazy and said there was a machine that could do that for me. Can you just import them all into an Excel spreadsheet? 10/5/2009 8:25:55 PM |

HTC smartphone -- windows mobile cab file install. Uses your camera to snap the picture for OCR.
I guess it's not practical in your situation. 10/5/2009 9:41:01 PM |
