I will be making a trip back home to India for about 3 weeks at Christmas and need to board my dog for that time. He usually stays with the vet over a weekend but since this is a long duration, I'd like to find a place that has more time spent outside or playing.

Preferably in Greensboro, but it's probably OK if he's in Raleigh, if there's a nicer place there. I'm hoping for something reasonably priced since it's going to be a long stay.

Alternatively, would any of you TWW pet-sitters be able to keep him for that time?

i don't really have experience boarding my dogs at these places, but there's a Pet Suites off the new 64 bypass (i think that's where it is) and camp bow wow off page rd ext near glenwood. i used to work at camp bow wow in college and took my dog to work with me. she had a great time. they stay out and play all day instead of just staying in cages and getting 15 mins to run once/twice a day. good people, and you can watch your dog online, no extra charge.

oh there's a camp bow wow in greensboro too apparently.

What kind of dog is he, how old, and is he ever around other dogs a lot (does he go to the dog park, does he have a 'sibling')?

Best Friends Bed and Biscuit:

Just outside Greensboro, and by far the best place to board your dog in the area. It's not cheap, but you can guarantee it will be like 3 weeks at a spa.

If they are full, you can do:

More expensive, but similar pampering, and VERY convenient to the PTI Airport.

I have boarded dogs at both places and would definitely recommend them. Feel free to PM me if you have specific questions.

^^He's a Corgi-Border collie mix that loves company and is quite energetic. He likes being around maybe 2 or 3 other dogs at a time but doesn't like a large group of dogs all at once.

^Thanks a lot. Will look at them some more and let you know if I have any questions.
