Besides high cost, what are the consequences? Jail time? Can they take away the car?
Tickets like 140 in 65mph or something like that?

Just hire James Crouch. There were several people in my defensive driving class that had tickets for doing over 100. Technically, I think they can take away the car, etc., but I don't think they usually go that far unless you have a long history of reckless driving.

I had a 106 in a 60. hired lawyer, used Prayer for Judgement, and 3 years later no record or penalties. I consider myself VERY lucky, and fortunately have learned from said mistake.

The officer can revoke your DL and have your vehicle impounded on the spot in addition to jail time and fines. Not worth it dude. Really.

Thanks Joel. Not always, but when conditions allow.

Yeah, I just wonder what would happen if? I pretty much see triple speed on a daily basis and it is always on long stretches with no cars around. It is impossible to control myself and I rationalize with myself whether it is worth it or not. I almost want to hear some really bad news where cars were taken away, so it makes me stop speeding.

Really? Even while getting like 40+mpg... Because you know a mustang can go 80+mph and still get 40+mpg...
