I happened to be listening to 88.1 some time last week, because I forgot my iPod, and they played a song…

it was kind of an upbeat indie sounding song, but part of the lyrics was something about johnny (or some male name…) wanting to carve his name into his arm.

Does anyone know what i’m talking about?

The notable aspect was that the song still sounded upbeat, despite the lyrics being about something somewhat gruesome.

^^, ^ actually, I did a search there for “bombadil” and the first hit a song called “Johnny”
