I normally don't bother watching 30 Rock, but I did enjoy this episode quite a bit (that's not to say I ever dislike watching it... I just don't usually).

Was I reading too much into it, or were they actually implying that Jay Leno is a shitty comedian (via the shittiness of country music) during the segway?
...If so, then I declare that I FUCKING LOVE THIS SHOW.

I enjoyed the episode, but IMO it lacked anything to set it apart as a "Season Premiere". "Uterus fell out" made me lol but the rest of Liz + Steve schtick felt like stale jokes from Season 1. Same with the Jack vs Kenneth affair and Tracy being randomly weird.

Don't get me wrong, it was funny and worth watching. It just didn't get me excited about the rest of the season.

One thing to note is that in "viewers" and "ratings" they usually do not count DVR recordings. So take the numbers, in relation to viewership, with a grain of salt but realize networks make decisions based on them

I thought the episode was hilarious, but maybe that's because anything would be a riot after that episode of The Office.

I loved Rational Liz fighting with Actress Liz, that's such a familiar moment haha

and who played Astronaut Mike Dexter? Loved it.
