I haven't heard anything from a legit source but it seems that it was just a run of the mill fight. There were three other football players with him including one other that got stabbed (a WR). I don't think this was a vengeance thing or anything to do with drugs or anything. Just a wrong place, wrong time thing. I don't condone fighting but I can't even count the number of times guys in a football team have gotten in to a fight in college. All of those guys (white, black, Hispanic, etc) don't deserve to be murdered on a quiet campus.

Anyway, this sucks... and UConn has to play at a ranked WVU this week. Should be interesting...

The fact that he died just seems more like a fluke than anything...The killer was no ninja master, and I'm betting murder wasn't the intention...I mean, Paul Pierce's incident sounded 10 times worse, he just just got lucky, and Howard unfortunately did not

i just find it hard to call it a fluke, sean tayler got shot in the leg and died under hospital care i wouldnt even call that a fluke he got hit good

what it boils down to is if you get in a fight u better finish the dudeas quick as you can, the days of punchin a dude a few times and standing over him proclaiming superiority are over, otherwise these "flukes" will continue to kill people

reminds me of that housewives of atlanta dude that got knocked out and died from hittin his head on the concrete, shame shame shame i wouldnt consider that a fluke its a definite and calculated possibility

It wasn't Jason Bourne who stabbed him with surgical precision

It was some knucklehead college kid who just emulated what he saw in a John Singleton movie

Taylor was the same thing...Unless you have advanced knowledge of human anatomy, you don't shoot someone in the leg to kill them

The point is, regardless of whether there was intent to kill in either of those instances, the fact that they resulted in death was more a product of chance than extreme precision by the assailant

either way, this shit is pretty tragic. what bugs me is the "well, shouldn't been there, blah blah" crap. it's college, people typically don't get killed while in college, at a college function. just as our tailgating murders were tragic, this one was as well.

plus it seems like he got caught in the middle of somethin where he may have known people that were beefin, who knows

it screams set up to me, i think someone pulled that alarm so that an altercaton could take place and then be able to escape quickly, but not necessarily that this dude was the target or not he wound up being involved somehow

why i dont even fuck with people no more, i keep my circle very small
