I did something stupid and got locked out of my Linode. I reset the root password for use through their emergency console and it didn't work. (Turns out I just didn't wait long enough for it to be active)
Anyway, I submitted a support ticket. They replied in less than 2 minutes. I realize it's the middle of the night, but that is still outstanding. They resolved the ID10T error for me with a quickness. 10/24/2009 1:15:31 AM |

called dell about the replacement HDD they just sent me. I told them it's clicking and making scratching noises. The TS said I"ll send you a new one. It's on the way, that easy. 10/24/2009 1:41:27 PM |

my laptop (hp dv9000 series) died, and i missed their extended warranty by a month. neither of the tech support people pulled strings for me. i realize that's asking a lot, but still. i'm going to talk to a supervisor now.

I recently paid for trillian astra (it was like $10 since I bought 3.something a few years ago) and was having it crash all the time on my work computer. I filed a support ticket and they let me file a bug in their bugzilla where I went back and forth with a real live developer who fixed the problem in about a day. 10/25/2009 1:17:19 AM |
