Does anyone care? I thought it was interesting but I probably won't watch.

Just found this on TV tonight. Hadn't heard of this before. Its an independent pro league played on Thursday and Friday nights. Broadcast on HDNet and Versus.

Their business model is to play in cities that are 'underserved' by the NFL. Only 4 teams in the 2009 season, hoping to expand in the future.

Teams:
San Fran
New York (underserved?)
Orlando
Las Vegas

Here are the 4 coaches:
Jim Fassel
Ted Cottrell
Jim Haslett
Dennis Green

Some notable players:
Abbate, Jon
Bell, Tatum
Gano, Graham
Losman, JP
Rattay, Tim
Rice, Simeon
Sams, BJ
Sauerbrun, Todd
Thorpe, Craphonso
Toal, Brian

4 teams, and 8 home stadiums. That's fantastic.
