Friends and I are hosting an assassin game in Raleigh. Assassins is a game where each player has a target and the object of the game is to eliminate your target by getting them wet with a water gun or water balloon. Once you have eliminated your target, you receive your kill's target as your new goal. Players are eliminated until only a single player remains.

The entire game is managed through http://raleighwars.com which is where you can sign up and post kills. Each assassin playing will receive an assassin code which must be kept secret. When you kill a target, your target reveals to you their assassin code, and this code may be posted to the http://raleighwars.com site to receive your next target.

Here are the game specifics:

Start date/time: November 3rd at high noon
End date/time: November 21st at midnight
Ordinance: Water weapons with self contained water supplies
Cost (mainly for the assassins ball): $10

I actually played this the first year they put it together. It was a lot more fun than you'd think. It was mostly a group of friends back then, maybe 20-25 big. You come up with some creative ways to shoot people with a water gun/water ballon.

Paranoia was big since everyone knew where there mark lived and worked. People were sitting on top of roofs waiting for people to come out of their houses, hell someone got into a neighbors attic and came down through their marks attic just to shoot him in his sleep. The attics were connect via duplex living.

Id tell everyone to give it a shot, if I still lived in town Id be playing. Old school fun, reminds you of what it was like to be a kid. and if you dont want to play, thats cool, but I doubt he posted the invite on here for people to make fun of the drawing and talk shit. Give it a shot and see if you still think its that dumb, I can almost guarantee you wont. keep it real.

I actually organized a rendition of this over the summer and it was uber fun. It was only about 30 people and we all knew each other beforehand so there were no strangers, but as ^ posted, the crazy ways people got kills were awesome. We had a rule in it that any type of "trap" or assassination method could be used to get your target. We had one girl who had an old Halloween costume of from the movie Juno which included a fake pregnant belly and a wig. She filled the fake belly with water balloons, put the wig/sunglasses on so nobody would recognize her. She then waited for her target somewhere and just walked up like a pregnant woman, then went just started yanking balloons out of the fake belly. It was pretty epic. We also had a few high speed chases involving super soakers through sun roofs and stuff. But we didn't have any type of gay graphic like that thing on his site, we just did it all through word of mouth and a few emails.
