I hate early games. Why is this at 1pm? It's homecoming, the least the athletics department can do is let everyone have a good day tailgating and hanging out. Cause once we get into the stadium everything starts to go downhill.

Raycom is busy televising their 3rd Virginia game, but I guess we got several ESPN-U broadcasts.

Won't miss "Skillet" though. Sometimes they feel like a monster... that wears eye liner.

but man i just stopped and really thought about how much of a turnaround of excitement this season has been

think back to a week before the south carolina game,,, and now...

it happens every year of course, but this is the worst i have ever seen, in 7 years of fanhood

this year is the fball equivalent of the jj hickson year

except its worse because there was actually no reason to think that team would be good. random ass tournament runs != success the next season. especially when you lose your point guard that made it possible

I think we win this game. Maryland is a sorry ass team with a horrible offense. They won't be able to stop our offense whereas we'll be able to stop there offense a few times.

I feel the offense played very well in the FSU game, I mean we scored 42 points against a division team, granted their defense sucks, but thats as many points as we scored in our easy-win-games...

If our defense can make some stops, and force punts, or hell even just hold them to a field goal 1 out of 3 times, we can win.

Statistically, Maryland's defense is almost as bad as Florida State. They're 11th in pass defense with Florida state in 12th and 8th in Rush defense allowing 40yds/game less than Florida State in 12th. That said, I'm sure they'll have their best defensive game Saturday. They've been a thorn in our side especially at Carter Finley.

this is the worst season i've been a part of my whole life. esp knowing we have a very decent offense (something we haven't had in 4 years)

i think there was one season in the early early 90's i watched a maryland game from my grandmas tv one saturday and we won. it was one of our only wins that season and it was a terrible season and an ugly victory at that. i don't even think mike ocain was coaching yet.

I'd like to apologize for my above grammatical error

And yes I've watched all our games (except Murray State and Pitt) and still think we can beat UMD. Have you seen some of their losses? James Madison, Duke, Virginia, & Middle Tenn State. If you look at the scores you can see that their offense is getting worse and worse. They barely scored more than 20 points combined against UVA and Duke, and their highest score of the year so far was 35, in their loss to JMU.

maryland didnt lose to jmu. they beat them in double OT. of course, since that game, jmu has gone on to suck ass in their division
