This thread shall be for the posting of some of the greatest, most epic themes or score, or sections of scores to movies. From the well known pops, to the lesser known gems. I shall start with a few of my favorites:

"Gladiator" score, I think the whole thing is incredible.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6t_4BL1TXbw

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFpZPZ_g4Hw

"Blackhawk Down" score, also great but especially the "leave no man behind" theme.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHJQCTLmDtc

"Gettysburg" also a great score, but the main theme is very powerful.

seriously

also, I want to add my little bit about life and love

for the guys

you want to be the main character, Hawkeye, NOT the british soldier, Duncan

it's the best example of how it all works

Duncan should of said later the instant Cora looked at him sideways

Excellent theme, and just because I did not include it in my first post in no way diminishes its greatness. I just want others to contribute.

I havent seen that movie in years, Daniel Day Lewis is a great actor.

Also, I could have posted the pop classics right away...ie "Star Wars"...but Im sure they will get posted at some point.

Isnt "Eraserhead" the movie with the eye and razor blade scene?

Also, "Requiem For A Dream" is a great choice. Hauntingly beautiful

I must admit, I am a huge fan of Hans Zimmer. I think so many of his scores are excellent. He has done everything from great classics, to animated films, to epics, and even cheesy movies. More often than not though, I love so many of his scores.
