I spent at least 5 years thinking that Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire were the same person so I will avoid this film.

Also, it's a remake of a dutch movie which featured Connie Nielsen, whose boobs you see in The Devil's Advocate.

The original by Susanne Bier was great.

just finished it

enjoyed it, but glad i didnt see it in the theater, was worth the $1.09 from redbox

maguire did a pretty good job playing the starved, tortured marine.

gyllenhaal did a better job in this one than many of his past efforts. then again he didnt really do much in this film. but for playing a "trying to live in the shadow of his older, but smaller brother, while at the same time keeping pretty low key due to parole issues" character, i think he did well

i think it is worth watching. the plot isn't what I thought it would be based on the previews so I was pleasantly surprised all the way through.

this movie was alright. i kinda felt like it ended badly though. almost like they didn't know which direction to take it, so they just stopped filming and left it there.

i, too, thought it was going to be a lot different based on the previews...

it was decent...nothing spectacular. not a movie i'd watch on purpose again, but if it was on TV i may watch it.

Decent. It was worth watching now that it was on instant watch, that is unless your queue is full of other movies you are dying to watch.
