"Grab the guitar and play along with top Christian bands! Shred those riffs or blast the bass…you add a unique sound to the solid Christian rock. But watch out: if you can't keep up, the artists will take a break and stop the music. Crank it up and try again - you'll soon be rockin' with the best while praising the Lord!"

I have not yet bought the game, but it has all of my favorite bands on it!! It is a really great idea but could use a few improvements through my eyes: -It could use some drums. -Or lower the price, because I can buy Guitar hero world tour with guitar, drums, and mic for $70(Not saying I will over this.)whereas this is $90.(but has christian lyrics.)

Love It!
MaryG (Ontario, Canada) 10/8/2009 5:52 PM
I think the songs on this game are awesome! They are great songs for the younger (pre-teen) to be learning and getting into their heads. Especially when compared to the competition. I too would really like another expansion pack with say, praise and worship (Matt Redman, Robin Mark come to mind) or some older stuff (Stryper, Whitecross, Bride). I think you could go nuts with ideas and different kinds of expansion packs. Our 8 year old son has fully enjoyed this game and loves to play with his Dad. God bless you all for making such an awesome product!

Great Game needs more though
Darrell (Texas) 10/1/2009 3:16 PM
I was really stoked about this coming out. Especially when I seen the list of songs. It would be cool to have this on playstation 2 or even xbox. It was even better to see that Stryper made it on the expansion, My favorite band. I would like to see a metal expansion but of the 80's. Barren Cross, Bloodgood, Whitecross, Stryper, Recon, Deliverance, Holy Soldier, etc. Keep up the great games.

Guitar Praise and More
Cathy (DC) 8/29/2009 8:25 AM
Guitar Praise is good but would be Great with drums and vocals also. We need the whole band to Rock. Hope to see it soon.

Some good bands to put on expansion packs
Brandon (Tx) 8/19/2009 3:46 PM
Maybe add on some Casting Crowns, Third Day, Remedy Drive, Chris Tomlin, Building 429, Rush of Fools, ect. If you make it on a system make it where we don't have to buy the game all over."

ahahaha Bloodgood? Whitecross?

just ignoring the stupidities that have already been pointed out. Does this guy think they can somehow release the software for PS3 and 360 in a way that will make the old PC software and controllers work on those systems?

that's all about profit

it's a sin to worship a false idol or make graven images of the Lord...

there's nothing in the Bible about profiting from Him

You realize you don't need a fucking state of the art building to worship the Lord in, apparently God doesn't care about that shit.

Unless the homeless go directly to Hell, there is a possibility.

^lol I swear it said somewhere "Thou shall not seek numerations off the name of the Lord" or something like that though I've not actually read the Bible. I'll admit I gave up on the 5th page of people begating other people.

I'm going to have to teach my children to embrace Jesus AND death metal.

If they can be good people that know how to act fucking metal and keep their act clean, then I'll feel that I have succeeded as a parent. I really don't understand the notion that, in order to be christian, you've got to remove all non-pro-jesus influences from your life.

Then again, I went to a baptist church last week and there was a southern baptist convention meeting THAT NIGHT for THAT WORSHIP SERVICE. I didn't know the details of what I was getting into until the guy leading the convention went up on stage and started ranting. I'm pretty sure I will never wash that dirt off of me. Those folks are a bunch of god damn idiots babbling like they are the one true subset of christianity. To make it worse, I went to a men's study with my friend who goes to this church (he's a great guy, he doesn't agree with some of the things that the church does but this was the best he'd found so far) and there were a bunch of people there ranting about how the convention leader had "the fire" going through him and that he was definitely "in the spirit of the lord". Bunch of kool-aid drinking moonbats. He ranted about how the church is mismanaging its money, then said people need to give more money to the church, then said he thinks people should be forced to give their money to the church. He then ranted about how southern baptist men are being shitty at becoming missionaries and whined about how the church was becoming smaller. He offered no real solutions to any of the church's problems, like a true politician. Stuff like this will convince me to have nothing to do with modern christian churches (yeah yeah, oxymoron, but this is seriously all the progress that group has made) and to simply keep my head down and wait for the end of the world.

RABBLE! TEXT! RANT! Damned southern baptist moonbats! RAWR!

The worst part was him complaining about the church spending too much money at home when we were in what had to be one of the largest, most ornate churches I had set foot in in a long time. They had a full chorus and half of a chamber orchestra going for a worship service. I think the church was three stories, and they had very large activity rooms like a convention center. The place wasn't finished with marble floors and gilded ceilings, but it was a far cry from a simple, traditional church. To add to the hypocrisy there he also complained in his speech that we were too worldly and focused on possessions.

There were also dozens of annoying types in the crowd doing the "AMEN!" "PREACH ON BROTHER!" "HALLELUJAH!" bullshit. They got especially excited when the lead guy was ranting about how everybody needed to become jesus freaks (his own words) and to become rabid, radical christians.

There was so much fucked up shit at that service.

just because Jesus was born 2000 years ago doesn't mean it wasn't here for eons before that

my cousins status updates are like this (like 10 x a day):

Quote :
"Read the quotes by the scientists... there is no logical inference that the bone simply may not be millions of years old... rather the emphasis is on the idea that our understanding of fossilization must be faulty and in need of revision. Old Age proponents stick their heads in the sand yet again.

The only rational explanation is that this dinosaur is thousands, not millions, of years old, as the Bible would indicate and as young Earth scientists have been saying for years. Buried in an immense flood, this t-rex would have been perfectly preserved under tons of pressure, leaving a quickly formed fossil with delicate tissues still intact inside the bones."

and that isn't even one of the bad ones. i feel like i might have to defriend. no other religious (whatever the religion) people are i'm friends with are like this. they just seem like normal people.

Well, I'd like to think I'm a non-fanatic christian and yeah I believe in science.

If you really want to look at everything through god-tinted glasses you could easily say that science simply discovers and brings understanding to the systems that are believed to have been created by an omniscient being. God created the animals by creating the system of evolution which led to puddle filth that evolved into complicated creatures, etc. The way that time is explained in the bible is relative. Explaining how god created the earth and how it progressed from a dark ball of molten rock into a sunny paradise in terms of days was an easier way to describe a rough understanding of how the earth came to be, as they had no way of knowing back then whether the earth was two thousand, two hundred thousand, two hundred million, etc years old.

Looking at the bible (a 2000+ year old work of man that was made possible by inspiration from #1 himself) as a non-deviational history of the earth is something that a knuckle dragging mouthbreather of an inbred fuck would do.

People who go and say the earth is two thousand years old are just a bunch of pseudointellectual assholes who are sucking on their religious mentor's cock. They'll not be changing their ways any time soon, though. There's a point of no return for a lot of folks like that.

I'm just glad my family doesn't have any of the "literalist" type christians that are a plague upon modern society.

When I converted, the possibility of evolution being true was a dealbreaker for me -- either you allow for it or I move on. The priest I talked to said that the Bible wasn't a science book and they just didn't concern themselves with the question. Based on that and a few other points I made my decision and signed up after a long period of agnosticism.

So yes, there are plenty of Christians out there who don't have a problem with an old earth and the associated evolution of life on it.

the most beautiful church i have ever seen was in the mountains. all wood, inside and out, four pews on each side, small wooden pulpit up front and behind that a huge window framing a mountain. the inside of that church was no bigger than my living room.
