I use the Xbox 360 Netflix app. Netflix is worth it IMO for the streamed movies alone. The DVDs in the mail are like a bonus. I don't think I'll ever buy another DVD when I can just be paying $10 a month for Netflix.

netflix is A+++ for surethey even do friendly gestures like taking off a buck or two for a month if they screw up deliverythe dollar value isn't high, but it does build confidence

I'm trialing the blockbuster service right now. They're keeping a steady stream of blue-rays coming without having to pay extra. However that streaming Netflix looks awesome. Free BluRay or Free streaming. Sad

HD movie anytime >>>>> Mailorder (or w/e) Blueray
11/17/2009 6:44:41 PM
so $10/month and you can watch ANY movie basically at any time? I'm on blockbuster plan and they are some greedy and pushy bastards with their product.
11/17/2009 6:46:36 PM
Not any movie. Certain movies have 'Instant Watch' and you can watch them anytime, anywhere. My mom has Netflix in eastern NC and I use it on my 360 (and laptop) here in Raleigh, and I think my sister uses it in Greenville.I don't know how you can check the library of instant movies, but it changes pretty consistently.[Edited on November 17, 2009 at 6:49 PM. I know Blockbuster has some exclusive movies though... but I'm not a big enoughy movie buff to really give a shit about that.. just throwing it out there in case someone reading this is.

I cycle 2 week trials under different names every couple of months, but I don't find myself using it enough to justify the 8 bucks a month sub. I was impressed with the changes they made to the 360 interface, but there aren't enough quality Instant Watch movies to lure me in. My media PC has enough content to keep me satisfied and I'll probably get one of those net top boxes soon.I keep letting my http://www.epixhd.com/ invite codes expire, I've been meaning to compare.PS: I can't help but think there's a million page thread in TT about this.
