apparently a different show from the normal Ghost Hunters.

I just saw that they're showing something that was shot on the U.S.S. North Carolina here on Friday.

Anyone watch this? Worth it?

I watch ghost hunters, ghi, and this new show (gh academy). GHA are going to places that the original ghost hunters have already been to and had experiences at. Ghost hunters have gone to U.S.S NC before (i think like 3 yrs ago). They've also been to Mordecai here in Raleigh, but I think they ate some snoopy's and all got sick, because after they all had some local hotdogs half of the team fell ill that night so they never finished Mordecai.

From what I can gather, this show is lame and not worth watching unless you're a super fanatic. They repeat enough info on the devices and techniques in the original gh and ghi that this gha is useless. However they do have a 'psychic' and an 'empath'(sp?), but I think it's a load of bull.

"Alright folks, today we're going to teach you how to crap your pants and scream like a girl when you walk into a spider web"

i think they did some of the lighthouses on the outer banks, too. i think i recognized the bodie island one from a recent commercial.

i don't have much interest in the series, but i thought it was pretty neat that it was filmed in eastern nc. lots of ghost stories from that area, and the old pirate tales probably add to the creative fodder for anyone writing a paranormal tv series.
