got the corrupt system file message today when i was tryin to start windows. i have about 2 gb of info on the laptop i need transfered to a flash drive/hard drive(i have both). it's an x41 thinkpad hd is showing up as unpartitioned space in windows recovery and windows just shows it as a usb mass storage device. pm me what you would charge for me to come to you and have you retrieve my data. thanks

If you're not great with computers, ^ is a good option.

If you think you can manage, download Hiren's Boot CD off the interweb (most of the stuff on there is warez). It's got some tools that are able to recover partitions or data in unpartitioned space.
