The challenge kicks off a week from tonight. The Big 10 has never won, but came close last year and fell short by a game. This year it looks like it'll be close again, but I think the ACC will pull out for their 11th straight win.

Who you got? (winners in bold)

Monday, Nov. 30
Penn State at Virginia

Tuesday, Dec. 1
Maryland at Indiana
Michigan State at North Carolina
Northwestern at N.C. State
Virginia Tech at Iowa
Wake Forest at Purdue

Wednesday, Dec. 2
Boston College at Michigan
Duke at Wisconsin
Florida State at Ohio State
Illinois at Clemson
Minnesota at Miami

I think the ACC wins again 6-5, with a bunch of games.

ACC sucks a fat cock this year.

And for the love of God can we bring back the ACC/Big East?

It was 1-1-1 and each conference won the EXACT same amount of games when they had it.

I would sacrifice an ACC win if it meant UNC lost their game.

Penn State at Virginia

Maryland at Indiana
Michigan State at North Carolina
Northwestern at N.C. State
Virginia Tech at Iowa (really Talage you're picking 1-3 Iowa over 3-0 Va. Tech?)
Wake Forest at Purdue

Boston College at Michigan
Duke at Wisconsin
Florida State at Ohio State
Illinois at Clemson
Minnesota at Miami

ACC goes 8-3

Because the ACC is not what it used to be:

Penn State at Virginia
Maryland at Indiana
Michigan State at North Carolina
Northwestern at N.C. State
Virginia Tech at Iowa
Wake Forest at Purdue
Boston College at Michigan
Duke at Wisconsin
Florida State at Ohio State
Illinois at Clemson
Minnesota at Miami

I don't actually believe the Big10 will win every game, but they will certainly win the series this year.

Wake scores more points. Plays better defense. Has arguably played a tougher schedule. And has Aminu who is averaging 21 and 9. To say they have no chance is kind of ridiculous.

WAT?

Wake is 84th in adjusted defensive efficiency to Purdue's 13th.

Arguably played a more difficult schedule? Are you sure you were looking at Wake?

Wake: Oral Roberts, ECU, High Point, WSSU
Purdue: Cal State-Northridge, SDSU, St. Joe's, Tennessee

It should probably be 2009-2010. I guess I always think of the basketball season as being mostly january thru march so I always use the ending year.

Terrible hand check call against UVA puts Battle on the line for 2 free throws.

UVA just sunk a 3 to cut it to 3! 45 seconds left, Penn St ball.

I think he slipped on some stairs while playing golf in the offseason and messed up his rotator cuff

I don't see the ACC winning more than 3 games.

Duke Miami unc and clemson are the only teams that have a CHANCE

once MSU figures out how to defend UNC (defend bigs, allow jumpers) they will pull away and win by 10 IMO

^^ and ^

no way UNC wins (unless the refs do play a huge factor). IZZO is too good of a coach to not be able to see how to defend UNC. Simply force them into being a jump shooting team and right now they are a mediocre basketball team

i agree that izzo is a great coach, i just don't see unc losing at home tonight no matter how mediocre they are. we'll see though. should be a good game.

i think VT pulls it out tonight too. Iowa sucks.

^VT should win

UNC, like any good team, is tough at home and it should be good for their young guys to be playing at home and have the crowd behind them, etc. But I just still don't think they are that great right now. If Mich. St. plays anywhere close to their top 5 preseason ranking they should just be the better team.

If Drew keeps hitting 3's all bets are off

OK UNC can quit hitting any shot they take any time now; maybe i am wrong

MSU is the better team this year. Not looking like it so far tonight though

im pretty sure unc didnt beat "almost everybody" by 35 last year...then follow it up with another pretty much 30 pt win (msu cut it against scrubs)

and the fact that msu had played at uncs level against louisville and uconn evenly talented teams its obviously just a huge coaching mismatch.

Quote :
"MSU is the better team this year"

how so? because they have a better guard? unc is DOMINANT inside. msu isn't dominant at anything really. overrated almost every year. they had a great run but i dont know how they upset those two great big east teams last year. bizarre
