a battery powered hamster that has a sensor at it's nose so it knows when to turn or back up in its little fake hamster homeit's pretty annoyinggood luck finding them now thoughmy aunt has spent the better half of the fall b4 they were announced "the big thing" buying all the zhu zhu and its parts (she had a feeling they'd be the "it" toy...she was right). she, her sister and mother basically had the deliveries on lock and knew which store to be at to buy which item when it arrived. she has EVERYTHING for all of her nieces and nephews...it's crazy.

A rodent wasn't good enough, so we had to build the six million dollar rodent?Looks like a Perfect Dark cleaner bot.
12/20/2009 8:33:32 PM
interesting. i already got her some little pet shop thing but my sister was asking me about it today
12/20/2009 8:36:16 PM
the cool thing about zhu zhu is that it's not a big toy manufacturer that made it. it's a much smaller operation.

THEY MIGHT KILL YO KIDShttp://www.wkbw.com/news/local/78653942.html

w/o reading that...I'm sure it's about Mr. Squiggles. The test wasn't controlled...Mr. Squiggles will not kill you.[Edited on December 20, 2009 at 8:47 PM. Reason : I know WAY too much about zhu zhu and didn't buy a one...damn you Lisa!! ]
12/20/2009 8:47:27 PM
nah i dont know about mr squiggles, basically thery found a certain dangerous metal in above bormal levels in it, but they didnt use the same test the government uses that measures how much of the metal actually comes off rather than how much is present
12/20/2009 8:49:08 PM
these things kind of creep me out
12/20/2009 8:50:40 PM
yep...that metal was found only in Mr. Squiggles. they re-ran the tests...they came back fine.should note that the 2nd round of testing that "found" the metal was fronted by the bigger toy manufacturers...pissed b/c the "it" toy of the season was ran by a smaller operation.[Edited on December 20, 2009 at 8:52 PM. Reason : AGAIN! I know WAY too much about zhu zhu!]

I'm just terribly glad that my nephew wanted Lego Star Wars.I went to target, found something for $30 and bought it. No fighting over whether it's on the shelf or anything, it was just there.I'm kinda jealous of what he's getting, actually. I want a goddamn tie fighter. I think I'd rather have the pile of other stuff I asked for for Christmas, though. I should be getting four or five books, which will make me really quite happy for a good while. <3 It's been too long since I got buried in a bunch of books.[Edited on December 20, 2009 at 9:04 PM. Reason : These hamsters look damned retarded anyway. More expensive tamagotchi toys.]
