Not to hijack, however, where can I find 10mm x 1.5 Jam nuts? I've tried everywhere, except Fastenal, who are closed till Monday. Everyone else has that standard SAE bullshit.
Seriously, why haven't we converted to the metric system? It's much more practical 11/27/2009 3:51:03 PM |

They have them at Scooterzinc. Both with the gator clips and or (they unplug) ones you bolt on and just pull it off when not needed. But they are like 20 bucks there... 11/27/2009 3:51:31 PM |

I had to drive to a little parts place in a one stop sign town today to find a metric bolt. They had one little briefcase of metric bolts...and half of it was empty. Yet it was still better than the last half dozen parts and hardware stores I tried.
Every vehicle made in the last 15 years has been metric. Why haven't they caught up? Is Harley Davidson using metric bolts yet? 11/27/2009 10:48:05 PM |
