Seriousy though, ths show is brilliance. Walt is off his rocker. He tries to rationalize/give perspective to horrible acts he has perpetrated both to his school and to Jesse. Blame the government? It used to be a joke that Jesse had nothing better going for him and that Walt was kidding himself and psyching himself up to be something he KNOWS he's not. Now? It is a sad truth, and the characters have gone further down their own rabbit holes - Jesse, content and contemplative with this fact (it is all he has) ... Walt, even more of a monster, still unable to see the forest for the trees, can only do worse by continuing to not see any of this as crime that has victim.

Walt made a big mistake by giving the Pollos guy a problem (I don't want to do this) and a solution (I have a family).

Gonna be great.

For most of it I was like.....nothing is happening.....nothing is happening......AH, the showdown with Skyler. That was a great scene.

I like how deliberate Walt is in everything he says, and how he physically moves. It's a big part of the character, and Cranston plays it very well....I have a feeling it was his own touch to make Walt that way.

i don't know if there's another show where the writers are able to show such restraint, and telling their story in such a calm and collected way. At the beginning of the season, I couldn't wait for them to start cooking again. And while i'll be happy to see that, they are doing a masterful job of working through the rest of the storylines

I feel like Jesse is one of the couple/few characters who hasn't really done anything actually wrong. Drug dealing does not count.

Unless I'm forgetting something he's done.

I feel like the writers have taken careful steps to make sure of this.

(for example, the SKANK! ATM incident)
