The thing I hate about the new parody movies is that they don't really try and craft a story with funny references, they outright take parts from the original scripts of the movies they are parodying. They then string them together in a completely nonsensical manner. I blame the Wayans brothers for making this mainstream.

As for this genre, Scary Movie 1 and Not Another Teen Movie are the only ones I've seen that were worth watching.
