All the Washington game proved is this:

The Saints found a way to win Sunday. Sometimes, you have to go out and steal a victory. Every game won't be a 55-10 blowout. We turned it around after halftime vs. Miami, but this game required us to dig deep for the full 60 minutes and then some.

really it required them to dick around with and underachieving, mediocre team for most of the game and then save their asses at the end. But no doubt that is a characteristic of a quality team. The point either way is they found a way to win

hopefully we can bring a decent A game against the falcons coming up this week. they are so beat up at RB and QB position we should be ok. defense just needs to have good run defense. brees will get his minimum.

People are getting down on Suisham, and I understand that that's kinda the nature of being a kicker -- but why aren't more people jumping on LaRon "I Celebrate Everything I Ever Do" Landry's getting beat deep in a game situation where we needed to throw deep?

On top of which, that wasn't his only time getting beat deep for 6 that day. They talked all this "LaRon Landry plays the 'Angel' position for this Redskins defense, and he roams deep in the secondary" garbage, but he had nothing to excessively celebrate on that strike to Meachem.
