So Chris Dodd has no business doing anything for anyone anymore after the way he's acted in recent years with regards to Countrywide et al, so he pretty much deserves to lose to whoever runs against him next year. I find this election highly exciting. Why? Because Dodd is terrible? Because my family is from Connecticut? Because Rob Simmons seems like an ok person on the surface?
No, because LINDA MCMAHON has a chance to win this thing.
Yes, as in WWF/E McMahon. As in Vince's wife and HHH's mom-in-law.
And it's BREAKING LOOSE IN HARTFORD, because now we have not just Simmons or Dodd or whatever vs. McMahon, but SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM and LIVING LEGEND LARRY ZBYSZCO vs. McMahon.

I'm gonna donate to Marvelous Marc Johnny B. Badd Mero's candidate of choice. Keep an eye on this one. 12/14/2009 9:29:07 PM |

Ed McMahon was commissioned a brigadier general in the California National Guard. I do not know about these other McMahons. 12/15/2009 2:48:31 AM |

Peter Schiff is also in the race (http://www.schiffforsenate.com). I think once more Republicans in CT begin to hear his message, his chances of winning the primary will increase. This election is a great opportunity. Connecticut can get rid of Chris Dodd, a person who played a big party in causing this economic crisis to begin with.
And, at the same time, they can send someone to Washington who actually wants to shrink government. Schiff isn't someone who is going to get to Washington and start campaigning for re-election. He doesn't want to get re-elected. His intent is to go to Washington and try to stop the career politicians from destroying the economy before it's too late. He's already polling above Dodd, it's just a matter of convincing the Republican party in Connecticut that they can't afford to send another "mainstream Republican" to congress. 12/15/2009 9:22:55 AM |

Dodd is out, it's breaking loose in Hartford!
I so want a McMahon-whoever Senate race. I want to see if Vince can keep his ego in check long enough to let his wife run on her own. 1/6/2010 1:55:13 PM |

Blumenthal is extremely popular. The only reason GOP had a chance is because Dodd was weak. Simmons has said he'll stay in the race, but I think Blumenthal will win easily. 1/6/2010 2:33:53 PM |

The McMahons are a joke. Linda McMahon would be the next Alan Schlesinger. 1/6/2010 3:13:27 PM |

There's no way she'll get beyond the primaries as long as Simmons has access to WWF/E DVDs. That, and they still never really cleaned up their steroid mess from the 80s/90s. 1/8/2010 2:40:38 PM |
