however, on he mountain whatever outfit, it's saying i didnt complete the poppy strager mission, but i did, by giving the money to him (maybei shouldnt have)

and that's the only outfit i have left, sorta

is there some way i can fix this

it's irritating to have that left open

yea it kinda is.

i'm at level 40.. those last 10 levels are going to be a pain in the ass.. nothing really gives you that much XP. i think they should have upped the XP that the challenges give, but o well.

So now that the patch was released i was finally able to tie up some loose ends in Armadillo and get all of the stuff for the Deadly Assassin outfit finished. I'm back in Mexico and doing the Landon Ricketts missions. On the poker mission where you have to duel against Muller, the German, do you have to kill him? I tried it 3 or 4 times last night to see if I could just disarm him but kept dying. I guess i'll just have to put a few rounds in his temple tonight.

I seem to have forgotten how to duel (PS3). I hold L2 to draw, but when I try to fire (hit R2, I think), nothing happens except for me taking a bullet & starting over.

You have to mark your target with R1/RB, more lethal points like the head and chest fill up the meter quicker

For most of the duels that happen in the context of a story mission, disarming is not an option. You have to kill them.

Torquemada was crazy, that damn Rolling Rock sniper rifle took me awhile to get used to. I finally put it away and just capped all those rebels with the buffalo rifle and took out the closer ones with the Henry Repeater.

nah, i've been taking it slow. I just get caught up doing so much other shit in the game. But i'm finished with all the treasure, hunting, and survival challenges that take place in mexico so i'm focusing on the missions now.

finally watched the credits roll. i thoroughly enjoyed this game. the storyline, presentation, setting, it all just worked. looking forward to the sequel.

I played John as a bad guy turned good, just trying to make an honest life for himself. But I've been playing Jack as a pissed off kid with a major ax to grind and respect for no one. I guess that's the emotional impact they were going for?


Also, Was I supposed to wait for the California stranger mission to appear before going after Ross? I've been goofing around waiting for it to show up but it never does.

god i love West Elizabeth. I unlocked it Friday afternoon and played the entire weekend without doing one main storyline mission there. The hunting, random encounters, and just riding through tall trees is amazing.


Also, i'm getting more random encounters where a group of men just pull guns on me and mow me down. I'm always unsuspecting because it's never happened in Mexico or out West. Are these the last of the Williamson gang members that I keep hearing NPCs talk about?

but im pretty sure you've already gotten one of them since you mentioned the buffalo gun iirc

when some guy is being chased by cougars it's a great time to knock out the knife a cougar MH rank, since they'll leave you alone to chase the guy... run up behind them and just keep going till they dead

Yeah, i'm at Master Hunter rank 9. I just didn't feel like going back into Mexico to search for Kahn the Jaguar or whatever his name is. I probably will tonight or tomorrow.


The only challenge i'm stuck on is Sharpshooter. I think I'm on level 8 now where you have to shoot two hats and get two disarms. I got the hats easily, but I read the disarms have to be clean, without any blood drawn, and i'm struggling with that. Either drawing blood, or taking too long to aim and getting plugged by the enemy or some other guy.

I don't think its lack of attention span, TreeTwista10 and I both loved Mass Effect and Fallout 3. RDead just doesn't have the replay appeal that I expected. Like Tree said, awesome game for about 48hrs.
